  • Improv Game from Brad, three stages (we did not explore 3rd stage)
    • Stage 1, circulation:  Circulate to the right.  last person in the chain (to left of initiating note) is the note to match; continue circulating until all players are circulating the same note.
    • Stage 2, call and response:  All players except 1 play a note of their choice as a chime.  Remaining player plays their note, and all others will attempt to match the same note using this call/response approach.  
    • Stage 3, call and response:  Two or more players (a minority of total players) chime together.  The rest chime in response.  Rinse and repeat.  The aim is for the small group to eventually agree on a note, and for the large group to find them and respond, until all are playing a unison note.
    • Stage 4 would simply be any of these games, played to a metronome.
  • Pour Trois with modified intro:  basses only at entrance, rhythm enters on bar 2, beat 3

Circulation/improv Where It Goes - runthrough @ ~86 bpm (counted in too fast), lower tempo review for Carl @ 76 Pour Trois:  Curt begins, clear entrance of rhythm at beginning, attention to dynamics coming out of middle.  Advice from Carl is to have several options available for final chord zither at end.  Jaxie will begin zither if present, otherwise this will come from Brad.
